When my cousin Lonnie asked me to photograph his wedding I was ecstatic! Every wedding I shoot is fun for me, as I am truly a VIP with an all-access pass from beginning to end. I am there for all the emotional events and I feel them just as much as any other guest. When it is your own family that you are working with, those same feelings are present, but also enhanced in so many ways! It is the same feeling I get with all weddings, but with an added family feel and connection that makes it all the more special. Andria and Lonnie are made for each other and that was apparent the first time I met with them to discuss their wedding. As you will see in the images below (particularly the first-look segment), they show an undeniable love for one another from the moment they make eye contact. As I have mentioned many times before on my blog, it is hard to describe what love is. However, you know it when you feel it and there is no question that you know it when you see it in others! The visual proof is below! For me, it was great spending the day with my family and seeing my cousin overflowing with happiness and joy. Congratulations Andria and Lonnie!
