I have shot six weddings at The Point this year so far. Unfortunately, I have only posted one wedding (you can see it by looking in the categories section under “weddings”, or “slideshow”) from there so far. Keeping up a blog is tough work! Anyway, I wanted to follow up with the wedding of Katie and Sean. I posted Katie and Sean’s engagement images here on the blog (check them out under the “engagement” category) back in the spring. They had their wedding and reception at The Point and it was a blast! As I’ve said before, The Point is one of my favorite places to shoot a wedding/reception. It can accommodate a large wedding party, has a fantastic view of the lake, and great photographic opportunities of course 🙂 The interior of the Lake Club is a personal favorite for it’s expansiveness, beamed ceilings, and the fact that it can open up to the outside (they have these retractable glass doors!)
Anyway, Katie & Sean were natural in front of the camera and here are some of my favorites and some of what The Point has to offer during the peak of the summer. A special thanks to The Michael Catlow Group for whom provided DJ and planning services for this wedding as well.
