Natalie and Matt’s wedding is over so I finally get to post Natalie’s bridal session!  One of the hardest parts of posting on a blog is holding back on the bridals.  Sometimes you take them months ahead of the wedding, but no one can see them until after the wedding.  I was super excited about this session not just because Natalie is probably the best bride on the planet 🙂 but also because I would be meeting her at the Duke Mansion for the first part of the session.  The Duke Mansion is a bed and breakfast and meeting place that has recently opened itself up to weddings.  It is a fantastic space for bridal sessions and now for weddings.  Later Natalie and I traveled over to Queens University and Belk Chapel to complete the bridal session.  It was a really fun session and I am excited with the results.  Natalie and Matt’s wedding are soon to follow on the blog!

When I was asked to photograph Lauren and Kelly’s wedding at The Point on Lake Norman I was immediately excited.  Lauren and Kelly are an incredibly cool couple who were great in front of the camera!  Plus, The Point is a great venue with a panorama view of Lake Norman, as well as a great club house for wedding ceremonies and receptions.  The photography opportunities are tremendous, so I was naturally happy to get back out there again.  The wedding day was fantastic, as the weather turned out to be nice and all the guests had a wonderful time.  Thanks Lauren and Kelly!  Congrats, I had a great time photographing your wedding!

What a great couple!  Matt and Natalie area fun couple and blast to be around.  I was so excited to be able to meet them uptown recently for their engagement session.  Luckily we had great weather for the duration of the session, but literally the bottom fell out and there was a torrential downpour right when we finished the session.  We had some good laughs during the session and since posting this I have shot Natalie’s bridal session, as well as their wedding.  So more to come on both of those!  Here are some from the e-session…

    Natalie - I love these….thank you so very much~

What is better than one set of twins?  Two sets of twins!  Jennifer and Randy have two sets of twins and they are a beautiful family.  I met up with them out by Lake Norman for a family shoot recently and the lighting was perfect.  The kids were all smiles and shoot was great.  I love taking pictures of big families and twins are very special.  Take a look.
