Today I am featuring a family session that is both rustic and rich with color! I wanted something different for this family, so I found an old barn and field to act as my canvas. The images are warm and inviting and the family looks so nice with their coordinated and colorful outfits. I love shots of siblings and these two kids gave me some really great smiles and showed their love for mom and dad. Here are some of the images from this recent session.

Today is the day of newborn posts, my second one to post on this day alone! I am trying to get caught up on the blogging and post some of the sessions I have shoot over this past summer. One such session was with Lilly, the newest addition of one of my favorite families! I already was able to photograph Lily’s older sister Lucy when she was a newborn. You can see Lucy’s session here. Lucy and Lilly’s mom Rachael wanted me to use the same blanket and headband for both sessions and I thought that was really cool! These two girls look very much alike, so when I look at the images from both sessions they almost look like twins! I got a good variety of shots, both indoor and outdoor. We started early to avoid the heat and I got some really great outdoor family shots to compliment the indoor shots of Lily. Here are some of my favorites!
