I have been dying to post some newer engagement sessions, it has been awhile since my last post on one. My most recent engagement shoot took me right into my backyard – Belmont, NC. I don’t get to shoot in my own town that much, but I always relish the opportunity to do so. What I like about my town is how down home it feels and the variety of cool spots in/around downtown. I met up with Laura and Keith for what would turnout to be a very colorful fall engagement session. Between the train cars, fall foliage and setting sun, we were able to pull together a wonderful session rich with color pop! This session represents my photographic style very well – strong color, lots of contrast, deep blacks, and plenty of intimacy/emotion.
