Oh how I love to photograph proposals! I feel so lucky and honored to capture the “big” moment when two people become officially engaged. It honestly gives me a rush, as I am the only person other than the groom-to-be that is in on it at that very moment! Andrew contacted me months ago about having me photograph his proposal. Since he and Samantha were coming down from Ohio to Charlotte for that weekend, it was super important to get all the logistics right because I would not be able to meet with him prior to the proposal. On the day of the proposal we had a flurry of texts about “the spot”, how I would identify the spot, etc., all while trying to keep it under the radar! Once everything was settled, I waited there until they arrived on what turned out to be a perfect early-March day. I will let the photographs below tell the rest of the story… It was a fantastic moment! Congrats Andrew and Samantha, I wish you the best of luck in the future and thank you so much for letting me be the one to document your story!!!
