Fall brings with it the opportunity to capture the wonderful colors of the leaves, nature, and changing of the season right before the camera.  What an awesome time to shoot an engagement session uptown Charlotte!  Tim and Stacy will be getting married next April at Firethorne Country Club and that wedding will surely be exceptional.  I met them uptown to start the session for some cool urban shots.  I think you will agree with me that Tim and Stacy look great in front of the camera!  The shots uptown make for some stunning captures and candid moments between them.  We followed up by going to a second location for a more natural “woodsey” feel and bring in more of the fall foliage.  I love the images of them against the wall and looking toward the water!  I can already picture how cool their photography will be at Firethorne in front of the stone arches.  Tim and Stacy you two looked great!

Leanne Mansour - Would love to get engagement pictured done as soon as possible.

I recently had the chance to shoot baby William’s session and it was so much fun.  I love clean backgrounds, preferring to keep the focus and attention on the infant, as well as the connection between the parent and child.  With this session I used a clean white background to convey the bond between the family and I think you will see the love between them come through.  The solo shots of William are fun, he looks so relaxed and content.  Here are some of my favs, as well as those that are representative of my style.

The Stapf family met up with me recently at the peak of the fall foliage to get some shots of their family.  We had great time and some good laughs.  Their kids are the best and came prepared for the camera!  The first few pics I took they jumped right into position without me even needing to tell them what to do!  Over the course of the session I got some really great smiles and the colors were outstanding.  The greens, reds, and yellows really pop in these images.  Thanks guys for a great session!

Tabatha is getting married in just a few days, but since she has two dresses I am allowed to go ahead and post her bridal session.  The dress that she wore to the session is not her main dress, but the one that she will wear during the reception.  I could have just waited, but I couldn’t 🙂  I have been wanting to post these for a few weeks now.  Tabatha is having a Phantom of the Opera inspired wedding day, and part of her bridal session was also inspired by the play (hence the masks).  I met up with her at The Point Lake & Golf Club for her bridal session.  The light was great and these are some of my favs.  Looking forward to the wedding!
