Katie and Christian were recently married at The Arbors in Cleveland, NC.  If you have not heard about The Arbors, you might want to check it out for your wedding venue.  The property is expansive and includes two ponds, numerous photo spots, and impeccable landscaping (considering it is owned by a landscaper, that would make sense!).  What I really like about The Arbors is that it is really picturesque, with it’s rustic charm and country feel.  I can’t wait to get back out there!  Katie and Christian had a wonderful outdoor ceremony on the property and reception adjacent to the house.  Most of the family came from out of town and brought one heck of a party to The Arbors.  I can’t begin to describe how much fun this wedding was, I was even brought to tears on two occasions!  What a fun day, I love this job!  Congrats to Katie and Christian, I wish you guys the best!

One of the pleasures of my job is meeting new people and then having the opportunity to work with them over the course many months, if not an entire year.  When I am fortunate enough to document a couples engagement session, bridal and wedding I feel really honored!  Such is the case with Kira and Eric.  You can see their engagement session here and Kira’s bridal here.  With those sessions posted I am ready to reveal Kira & Eric’s wedding at River Run Country Club!  River Run is a premiere wedding venue in Davidson, NC with fantastic scenery that will make any wedding look fabulous!  I had a great time working with Kira & Eric on their wedding day and the wedding was a blast from start to finish.  Congrats to Kira and Eric!

OK, so here is a fantastic bridal that I shot not too long ago and I am excited to display the images today.  Katherine and Greg are married now, so I can post Katherine’s bridal images without worry!  I will post their wedding images very soon, but for now these images will serve well and serve as a teaser for the actual wedding.  I always look for bold colors, excellent framing and unique environments to surround my subjects.  I’m just glad we managed to get the session in, as the bottom dropped out right at the end and Katherine had to use my reflector as an umbrella!  This bridal was awesome, I just loved working with Katherine on this shoot and she looked beautiful for the shoot.  Congrats to Katherine and Greg!

The Nelsen family are really special and I have photographed them for the past five holiday seasons!  Is that not the ultimate compliment or what?  I started shooting them before their youngest son was born and when their oldest was just a tike!  Their family has grown and with it come more memorable moments in front of my lens.  They always dress to impress and this year was no different.  With suspenders and cool hats in hand we ventured off for a colorful holiday session!  What a great time we had and here is a sample from that day!
